    Music & Rhyme Time

    At each Music & Rhyme Time we sing songs, dance and play instruments to a guitar accompaniment, participate in action rhymes, and read one short story. Each lively and fun session lasts about 20-40 minutes and is designed for two-year-olds and their grownup!

    Baby & Me

    Baby & Me gives your child the opportunity to hear lots of language while you spend time bonding together! Program lasts about 15-20 minutes, and is designed for babies ages birth up to 23 months.

    Teen Book Discussion

    Meet in the Teen room for an informal discussion of Holly Jackson’s new standalone book The Reappearance of Rachel Price. This book will be released on April 2nd and multiple copies will be available.

    Play & Learn

    Join Children’s Librarian Mariah and community professionals from local agencies for a fun and interactive playtime in a room full of toys!  The four-week Play and Learn program brings together children and caregivers in a playful and interactive setting.  During the program, caregivers and children spend quality time together playing and participating in art or sensory exploration.  Professionals from local agencies will be on hand to informally chat about topics such as nutrition, play, child development, fitness, behavior, speech, and hearing.  The program emphasizes and supports the role of parents as first teachers, facilitates early intervention, and promotes healthy child development and literacy through modeling and referrals to community resources (plus it’s really fun!!) Ages birth – 5, sign up required (sign up covers all four weeks).

    The Reading Group

    Preschool Storytime

    At preschool storytime, we sing songs and do action rhymes, read up to four stories, and play percussion instruments. Storytime is 30 - 45 minutes long and is designed for ages 3 and up.
